Amanda Beisel

Founder / Acupuncturist (R.Ac, B.A)

At the age of 22, Amanda decided she wanted more from her career. With a degree in psychology and a wealth of experience in social care, Amanda set out to explore the world. Formative years spent abroad in places such as Korea led Amanda to the discovery of the powers of eastern medicine. Upon her return to Canada, Amanda spent several years at the International College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Vancouver.

While completing her acupuncturist studies, Amanda traveled to California to study Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture under the guidance of Martha Lucas. After seeing firsthand how effective Cosmetic Acupuncture was in decreasing and preventing aging of the skin, as well as treating acne, Amanda was inspired. She is currently the only acupuncturist specializing solely in Cosmetic Acupuncture in Vancouver. In March 2010 she was featured in Canada's Nuvo Magazine.

Amanda’s knowledge and passion for health and beauty led her to create SKN Holistic Rejuvenation Clinic. SKN is the only Clinic that combines the powers of Eastern medicine, medical esthetics and skincare counselling. This unique concept allows the SKN team to improve the look and health of both the skin and the internal health of each client so results are holistic and long term. Amanda, along with fellow SKN team member Amy Chalmers, is currently researching and developing internal anti-aging and skin health programs as well as developing a cosmeceutical line.

Amy Chalmers

There she continued to acquire both national and international post graduate qualifications before graduating with distinction and taking the prize for Top Student. She later worked in association with the academy as a practical trainer, and private tutor. She is currently studying Nutritional Medicine through the Australian Institute of Applied Science.

In addition to her clinical work as a dermal therapist specializing in paramedical procedures, Amy has written articles for industry publications, collaborated on the development and formulation of product ranges (including cosmeceuticals, skin peels, and post care treatments), developed health and safety protocols for clinic use, and provided specialized training to students, clinic staff , nurses and other allied health professionals. Amahra Jaxen

Cranial Sacral / Reiki Healer

In the realm of quantum physics, the connective webbing of fascia is proving itself to be the access point of the emotional / soul body. Physical and emotional trauma sustained throughout your life, is stored in your fascia much like a holographic image. Connecting with this realm releases years of deep tension and trauma. The body loses its point of origin for these hidden, internal pictures and is unable to release them. I locate them, guide your body in, and you find your way out. This healing work goes beyond the apparent, into the level of the core wound and addresses dynamics that won’t respond to Western Medicine or traditional bodywork. Amahra specializes in:
