What is Facial Rejuvenation PRP?
Facial Rejuvenation Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy is the application of a platelet rich serum derived from your blood to renew and revive the skin from the inside out. The treatment may involve the PRP being microneedled, injected, or both, into the face, neck, or décolletage.
How does it work?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a component of our whole blood, which contains hundreds of growth factors and proteins to help the production of new cells and tissues, while also repairing any damage or injury in the area treated.
What are the benefits ?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is used to reduce and reverse the aging process by smoothing fine lines and wrinkles, addressing pigmentation or ‘age spots’, calming inflammation or irritation, healing acne scars and discolouration, and improving overall tone and texture of the skin.

+ What is the difference between CTGF (Connective Tissue Growth Factor) and the PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy)?
CTGF is a human based growth factor derived from baby foreskin (this is collected in the hospitals in a very sterile method). It is a concentrated solution that was first used on burn victims, and those healing from diabetic ulcers in hospitals to regenerate healthy skin. It promotes skin healing and regeneration and speeds up results and healing time of micro-needling.
PRP also known as Platelet Rich Plasma therapy involves the drawing of blood. Blood is primarily made up of a substance called plasma along with platelets. Platelets contain hundreds of growth factors that are very important for healing and regeneration and are very well utilized by the skin because they are coming from your own blood and body. CTGF is one of the many growth factors contained in PRP. Some of the other growth factors are working more specifically on collagen synthesis, and increasing circulation to the skin. Ie. transforming growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, epidermal growth factor, keratinocytes growth factor.
The Eclipse PRP System (the one we use) allows us to simply remove red cells, white cells and platelet poor plasma (PPP) without removing a high percentage of platelets making it superior to other PRP systems.
