Peels
Skin peels are a superior choice when looking to restore, and rejuvenate the skin. The great news is that peels have evolved over the past few years. We offer unique vitamin peels, acids peels and nano technology peels at SKN. Our peels are designed to benefit a diverse range of skin concerns such as aging, fine lines, wrinkles, acne, hyperpigmentation, melasma, sun damaged, rosacea, and more.
HOW DO I CHOOSE THE BEST PEEL FOR MY SKIN CONCERNS AND GOALS?
It is mandatory to book a complimentary consultation with one of our Advanced Skin Practitioners to determine if you are a good candidate for our peels. This consultation will allow your skin practitioner to identify your skin needs and choose the best possible peel for your concerns and goals.
*It is also mandatory to purchase the post-peel kit when undergoing the MandeliClear peels. The kit costs $40 and will last for up to 3 peels.
VITAMIN A INFUSION PEEL
The Vitamin A Infusion Peel is a unique non-acid peel that uses concentrated encapsulated retinaldehyde. It is then customized with boosters to your specific skin’s needs making it a great peel for many skin concerns including aging skin, pigmented skin, melasma, acne, rosacea, and dull-looking skin.
This peel is working on the most important layer of your skin - the dermal layer doing what we call "dermal remodelling" that supports skin repair, collagen formation, and total skin regeneration. The key to healthy youthful skin.
Vitamin A in the form of retinaldehyde is also a potent stimulator of collagen and elastin and regulates cell turnover ensuring you have the healthiest, brightest skin revealed.
This treatment is results driven and relaxing as the custom blended peel is penetrated into the skin via massage by your practitioner.
*You can expect no peeling to very moderate peeling that can occur 2-3 days post treatment and last up to 7 days. However the true benefits of this treatment are happening deep in the dermal layer beyond what you can see with the visible eye so the peeling does not determine the benefits you receive.
MANDELICLEAR PIGMENTATION PEEL
The MandeliClear Peel is our acid peel and it is a great option for those who are dealing with sun-damaged skin, post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation from pesky breakouts, acne, or melasma. This peel is safe, and well-tolerated and it works to minimize pigmentation issues by gently peeling away the top layer of damaged skin.
The MandeliClear Peel is considered a modified, modern version of the Jessner peel. It contains 7% lactic, 7% salicylic and 7% resorcinol plus 9% mandelic acid.

SWICH PEEL
It’s time to activate the life force energy of your cells to make your skin behave younger and act more youthful and healthy.
Swich is a unique treatment that is that activates the life force energy of your cells causing them to behave young and act more youthful and healthy. It is considered an active treatment but acutally works in the opposite way of a chemical peel - meaning it doesn’t break down surface proteins removing layers of the skin like a chemical peel. Swich works in a unique away by penetrating specific solutions deep into the cells that work specifically in the mitochondria to boost ATP levels. ATP is the life force of all your cells and cells require it to function effectively and optimally. The ATP of our cells decline as we age.
This treatment works on various skin cells two of the main ones being the Fibroblasts to make more collagen and work better and the Basal cells to speed up cell turnover keeping fresh, healthy skin on the surface.

FAQ
Downtime varies from person to person depending on their skin. If you are using active ingredients at home such as vitamin A, vitamin C, and acids you will have a better result and more post peeling.
The peeling begins 2-3 days after the treatment and can last up to 7 days depending on the layers applied and the strength of the peel.
Downtime varies from person to person depending on their skin. If you are using vitamin A at home on a regular basis you will actually have less peeling with this treatment. If you are not already using a vitamin A at home you will experience more peeling.
The peeling is mild to moderate and will begin 2-3 days after the peel. If you are using vitamin A on a regular basis at home you may not experience post peeling but this does not mean you receive less benefits.
The Double Infusion Vitamin Peel adds a vitamin A accelerator to the treatment and will cause more post peeling.
We recommend not wearing makeup. You will find it very difficult to apply makeup post peeling due to the flaking. We do have a special post treatment makeup called Oxygenetix that is recommended if you feel the need to wear makeup.
When skin is peeling it requires nutrients and healing ingredients to support the skin as it rebuilds a healthy fresh new layer.
Your SKN practitioner will advise you on the post care process at the complimentary consultation. When undergoing a chemical peel it is mandatory to purchase a post peel kit that will provide everything your skin needs to ensure a safe and successful peel.
